 CE-NET Project

The European Commission funded CE-NET Project IST-1999-29107 is a non-profit making partnership whose mission is to create the premier repository of Concurrent Enterprising information in Europe. It aims to bring its Members relevant, targeted information and offer a searchable information service offering solutions to CE issues, in addition to offering a forum for networking with other Members.

CE-NET also aims to raise awareness about CE and constantly improve its services by attracting diverse New Members and encouraging their contributions.

If you have any questions or concerns about CE-NET please contact the administrator.

What information is gathered about you:

Visitors to this site can sign up for Membership, free of charge, by completing the on-line membership form. This includes submitting details of a name, organisation, address, telephone, facsimile and e-mail contact. We also request that you select as few or as many 'areas of interest' as you want to subscribe to and receive information on.

How the information is used:

We use the information supplied by you only for the specific task of sending you information from our data repository, and broadcasting messages as they are gathered.

CE-NET will not make your personal information available to any third party without your permission.

Your personal information is not published on the website or made public in any way. We do not use the information for marketing other services other than to bring you messages relating to CE-NET and Concurrent Enterprising.

There is occasion to make details of our Members available to the European Commission appointed Officer and Reviewers of CE-NET, to demonstrate that we are conforming to the requirements of the project. This communication is private and handled in strict confidence.

Members can, if they choose, elect to have their entry placed on the 'Who's Who' repository, thereby giving them the opportunity to have their organisation's details searched for by other Members. The option to do this is on the Membership Form. This provides an additional layer of service for those who would like to promote their own CE interests and activities via CE-NET.

Correction / Updating Data

Each New Member is automatically issued a Password as soon as their registration is complete. This Password gives access to the Members' Only area of the site and gives Members the chance to update the information held about them. Here Members can also edit the 'areas of interest' they are subscribed to, add or remove themselves from the 'Who's Who' repository or unsubscribe themselves as Members entirely.

Members can also contact the CE-NET Administrator to carry these tasks out for them if they prefer.
