WEB SUPPORTED TRAINING FOR SMES

January 15, 2002

Dear all,

I believe this could be of interest to the members of the list.

It is my pleasure to inform you that since last February I am leading the Project

"Interactive Learning for Innovation Management"

(I@LIM) (under EU's Leonardo da Vinci II Programme).

The aim of this Project is the development of a web-based training environment in the Management of Technological Innovation area. This environment will be specially designed to answer the training needs of managers of SMEs undertaking technological innovation. Through the access to a web site, trainees will benefit from updated referring material, best practice case studies, coaching and a discussion forum with fellow trainees in different European countries, thus providing the opportunity to share problems and find solutions. Participants will benefit from training at their most convenient time without the need of leaving their working environment.

The Project, which has a 2-year duration, will be developed by a consortium of six partners in five European countries, headed by the Instituto Superior de Gestão in Lisbon, Portugal.

I believe our Project is of great interest and usefulness to most SMEs managers. Thus, I would like to invite you to visit our web page at www.i-lim.net. It will be continuously updated along with the Project development.

Moreover, I would really appreciate if you were so kind as to disseminate this Project as widely as possible.

Any comments, suggestions or requests for further information will be very welcome. Please address them to:
